Just found my Duke hidden fee waiver. So happy!! I really didn't not want to pay that $70.
Also got USC in the mail. Don't know if I'm applying yet since I already applied to UCLA and will most likely get in.

They use the same app if you are applying for just a JD or a JD and another degree but they use a separate app for JD and MBA

I have fee waivers from UM, UVA, and BU. A couple others from places I've never heard of.

Did anyone else receive an Emory fee waiver, with or without request?

I wish I could trade off all of these fee waivers from 18-30 range schools for better ones...

Re: 2009-2010 Fee Waiver Tracker Thread
I got Washington and Lee by e-mail on 9/27/09. I haven't indicated in any way that I want to go there, and I just took the LSAT the day before, so I'm not sure what their reasoning behind sending it is.
Those of you who have succesfully requested a fee waiver, did you give the school some reason or just ask with no explanation? Is e-mail or a phone call generally more effective?

Got UMichigan today via snail mail, complete with lovely handwritten note at the bottom!
I discovered the waiver Friday via LSAC, but getting the official mailing was a nice treat.

Re: 2009-2010 Fee Waiver Tracker Thread
Dumb noob question, but how do these merit waivers work? I email a school that I have good numbers at, and if I get a waiver, how does that waiver get used when using LSAC to submit the app?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
