Gahhh today is my sixth day in a row of restaurant double shifts ... last day is august 2. unfortunately i leave town for school only two days later. i should really start packing.

So I set up my part time arrangement, it has me working part time for about 2 weeks into the school year, and then 5 weeks off, with an option to return in October for more part time.

The best part is that I'm still salary for the extra few weeks I'm working before the time off so I get paid a full day even if I only work a half day during the remainder of August.

I would love to quit altogether but maintaining a good relationship with my current employer can only be good for my future.

This is my last day of work as well. They expect me to do real effing work! Pretty sure it's not a benefit to have your step brother be your supervisor, brother in law be another supervisor, another brother in law be the president of the company, and step father be the owner as I'm being treated like effing Cinderella in this mofo! Today is my last day and it feels like it's taking forever. It doesn't helped that I forgot to remind my mother about the money order I needed until a few hours ago. The voicemail I got illustrates how thrilled she is I'm adding to her busy day.

As of today, I have three weeks left at this soul sucking hell hole. My mind is trashed, useless really at this point. I've grown to detest the over weight, sad sacks of flesh that serve as the administrative support staff whom I'll one day have to rely on. What is the deal with bagel Friday and why is it so fucking important to these people?? Must we have access to empty carbs in order to get along? Sigh, 3 weeks.
