He sounds very unenthused. If you don't want your Butler, pass it on to me Mallard.

No, probably not in that case.

OMG!
I go to the mail box and see a large white envelope that says "Columbia Office of Admissions". In disbelief, I run back home with the envelope and open it with a pair of scissors.
Guess what it was.. a book about how awesome Columbia law is!! Ahh!!
FYI Columbia- Don't send stuff like that to applicants in the same size envelope you send acceptance letters.
</rant>
CONGRATULATIONS!!! Do you mind PMing me your stats (send/complete date; lsat; gpa)? TIA!!!!!
It wasn't an acceptance letter, just a book and some information about the school.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! I got it. Well good luck!

In all fairness, once you're in at Harvard, how enthused can you really be about another acceptance? But congrats! It's awesome, anyways!

Out of curiousity, what are you basing this on?

Where are you geographically? (A rough answer would be fine.)
Don't think you should be giving up hope yet...

Re: Columbia Applicants Waiting Thread
Both of you seem like you'd get in...
Maybe they are sending acceptances to only auto-admits at this stage, or maybe the mail is slow (since Mallard is in NY).

I'm in Manhattan, so if they sent something I would have gotten it.

That's probably right, but if you look at the small sample size of 3 on LSN right now, they are all auto-admits. So maybe CLS decided to only accept auto-admits right now, and are changing from last year's game plan...

Sorry to ask this again, but has anyone else NOT gotten a request for Fall grades? They have had my app since October and still nothing.

Highly doubt you're dinged...
I read on another thread that they chose grade request ppl randomly, but that a grade request is not a bad thing...

I didn't get a request for Fall grades, but I graduated in Dec. 2007, and they probably don't care how I did in PhD level Stochastic Processes and Econometric Methods classes in the fall...

Oh, not going to post numbers, but I think my index was a 4.6 or 4.7. Somewhere in between.
