YC, your predictor is awesome! I have been crunching numbers trying to figure out what my chances are into some PT programs. I am just wondering why Brooklyn doesn't appear in the PT list?

It seems to me that one main problem for splitters is that very top schools such as yale, harvard, and stanford seem to have gpa cutoffs under which they don't really ever take applicants no matter how high the lsat and index. For example: at 180 and 3.55 lsp lists Stanford as admit with 79% of admits at lower index numbers. However, it reality I think its safe to say that a 3.55 is quite simply below Stanford's cutoff no matter what, even from a great ug etc. I think this problem mostly is specific to very top schools but even that being the case I think it would be fairly easy to fix by putting in a gpa cutoff for these 3 or 4 schools under which gpa begins to take on more weight in calculating prediction.

lol. We must always be vigilient of government's efforts to erode the Third Amendment and once again quarter soldiers in citizen's homes.

...although doesn't advocating for the Third Amendment kind of go against supporting the troops?

Sorry YCrevolution, as much as I love LSP, I got to disagree with your blatant anti-American actions with the founding of the Third Amendment Center. As a veteran, I can tell you that our national security is very much dependent on my ability to crash at my buddy's place against his wishes and raid his fridge. With the current state of the economy, we need to find other sources of pay for our soldiers and I don't think it is too much to ask to allow us to release them on a city and have them find their own room and board among the common folk. To make it fair we can cycle among the major cities, that way your Third Amendment rights are squashed only a little bit

YC, you mentioned in another thread wanting to color code the results. Here is some javascript that you can add to the end of the recalc_onclick(ctl) function and it will do the color coding for you. It is not the best code, but it works for now.

Let me know if you need any help figuring out where to put it.

Nice 2.6 is up! Great job with this program. I noticed that the "% at/below" column no longer changes when I calculate with and without the ED option. Is that an intentional part of the update? I guess the fact that one applied ED doesn't change one's real numbers, so it shouldn't really affect that column, but I noticed that in 2.5 my numbers would go from 53% to 63% when I selected ED.

I put in the LSAT score and GPA and it said strong consider for a school. I then played around with it and put the same GPA and an LSAT score of 1 point higher and it moved the same school that was at strong consider down to consider... what gives?
