Man of my word
I got my first rejection letter today, so I quickly typed out my Rejection Letter Rejection Letter.
It's time to see if those Kentuckians have a sense of humor.

From them:
To Them:Dear ME,
The UK College of Law Admissions Committee, of which I am chair, is now reviewing application files, including yours, for our fall 2007 entering class.
Your application for admission to the fall 2007 class of the College of Law has been reviewed in full and considered carefully by the Committee. I am sorry to report that we will not be able to grant you admission to our entering class for the fall term. This decision was made after a complete and careful review of all of the credentials that you submitted.
As you are probably aware, admission to law school is extremely competitive. While there were many good points in your file, our Admissions Committee did not believe that you would be a competitive candidate in our admissions process this year. I would encourage you to apply to other law schools, if you have not done so already. We do appreciate your interest in our College, and we wish you the best in your future endeavors.
Dear UK Admissions Committee,
I am now reviewing rejection letters, including yours, for the fall 2007 semester.
I have reviewed your rejection letter, and after carefully considering it, I am sorry to report that I will not be able to accept your rejection. This decision was made after a complete and careful review.
This rejection is no reflection on your rejection letter. As you are probably aware, rejection letters are extremely commonplace this time of year, and I am receiving many of them this application cycle. While your rejection letter is excellent in some aspects, I do not believe that it is competitive in my rejection process this cycle. I encourage you to continue rejecting other candidates, and I will see you at orientation.
Sincerely,
ME

If I hear from UK, either positively or negatively, it will go EVERYWHERE, but if I don't hear back from UK, I will probably not waste the stamps to send it everywhere. Georgetown and Yale will definitely get a copy tailored to the letter they send me, but I'll probably limit my begging to them since those are really the two school I WANT to attend.
I wouldn't have sent that to UK, but I promised that I would send it to the first school that rejected me. Luck of the draw made it UK.
