Post by dank4284 » Tue Nov 18, 2008 1:00 pm

How long does it take for a LSDAS Report to be processed after it has been requested? I tried searching the forum, but couldn't find an answer. Thanks!

website says 8-10 days to send to school after it's been requested. You can check to see when it's been requested on My account>>Letter/Reports

Processed by the school? It depends on the school anywhere from UChicago 1 day to NYU over a month.

Thanks. I know each school takes a different amount of time. I meant the LSAC.

What does requested mean? You mean after you have submitted your transcripts?

No. After you submit an app, each school has to request a report.

So you are asking how long it takes for LSAC to process your LSDAS report before it sends it to the school?

Yep. A school requested a report about a week ago and LSAC says the report isn't processed and I just wanted to make sure this wasn't unusual.

Go to Account Status >> Electronic Apps It should have a heading saying "Law School Report Processed." Under that heading if it is not yet processed there will be an N.

I submitted 13 apps on the 15th; all reports have been requested but only 6 processed so far. But the 15th and 16th weren't business days, so today is really only the 2nd day.

I sent out six applications on the 7th, all but one have requested LSDAS reports, does anyone know why that one school is taking so long? The school is John Marshall in Chicago by the way.

Does lsdas send whole app or just report

Post by firsttimer » Mon Jan 11, 2010 9:34 am

Im a little confused about the was lsdas works. I see the report that was sent to a school that requested it.
Its a one page report and says there are 2 lors being sent. Is this all that lsdas sends or do they send the whole application? When does the app get sent?

With Texas, it took forever because they requested paper, but with all my other schools it took less than 3 days.

I retook the December LSAT. I already had the rest of my application submitted by November. Scores came out last week, but my schools say they haven't recieved my new score. Why? Is there something I should do?

Werd. Why is there such a huge difference in receiving a piece of paper with a 3 digit score on it? I've had schools I applied to last week already go complete with my new LSAT score yet some schools are still telling me they have yet to receive it yet... are they just inept? Why would some schools be so slow to process these new scores?
