LSAC App question

Post by letmelearnlaws » Sat Dec 16, 2017 9:22 pm

So, when I'm filling out an app for a law school (NYU in this case, but it's the same with others), the "Employment" section asks me to list all of my extracurricular activities and leadership positions etc. The format for answering those questions, however, makes it very difficult to accurately portray my involvement, and I feel that the issue is best addressed on my resume. How should I settle this? Should I simply do my best to put it all in the form on LSAC? should I leave it blank and assume they'll refer to my resume? Does it not matter?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by that section being difficult to fill out, but no, you should not rely on your resume to fill in the gaps. The employment history section on your app will later be used for your bar application, so you need to be as accurate as possible.
