Northeastern c/o 2021
Don't think this thread exists yet. I was admitted (no scholarship money) on 12/11/17 with stats of 155 and a 3.84 with great softs. Was hoping to be awarded the PILS but was told I was no longer in the running. This year apparently decisions on PILS is made at time of acceptance as in with the acceptance letter. Not sure what happened to the interviewing process like in years past.

Totally won't. They indicated that they may at a later date reevaluate PILS applications. I have a good federal job as a paralegal for the U.S. Attorneys Office and would only leave to go to law school if it was free.

You should retake if you decide to reapply to law schools.

I was admitted with a 90k scholarship over three years with a 155 (got same score twice) and 3.6 with great softs (I guess). Am planning on using PLSF since fully intend public interest career (even if that means forming one which my supervising attorneys who went there did). Good deal? Also know to negotiate once I see some more offers from other schools.

Got in on 12/15 with full-tuition scholarship, guaranteed all three years. Had a 168 on the LSAT, 3.69 UGPA. The scholarship info was included in my acceptance letter, though it didn't mention the PILS (which I did submit the additional essay for). I'm not sure if that means I didn't get it or if I'll hear later.

This is the response I had received from them when asking about my PILS application:
Thanks for reaching out to us. Please know that all applications are automatically considered for the PILS scholarship. We have a very competitive application pool this year and the review committee didn’t feel you were qualified for the PILS scholarship at this time. The PILS committee may reevaluate files at a later date.

I got in on 12/15 with a full-tuition scholarship. I did apply for the public-interest scholarship, but there was nothing about it in my acceptance letter. Northeastern is one of my top choices because of their public interest focus, but I'm still waiting on a few other decisions from schools. For anyone who is seriously considering attending: PM me! I would love to talk to others about the school.

NUSL appears to be forgoing the PILS process of the past where an "invitation to interview for PILS" would follow the acceptance letter in an email weeks later. This year, according to Judy in operations, they are making decisions at the time of acceptance.
