New Personal Statements if Reapplicant?

Post by ShepherdJoo » Wed Oct 18, 2017 2:20 pm

Hey guys,

I'm hoping someone could shed light on this question. Is it true that if you're a reapplicant, you will need to submit a new personal statement as well as a completely new application form? Is there any way you can reuse the essays you've submitted before, or do they have to be completely different topics?

Also, how important are school-specific essays? for T14? for T20?

Thanks,
ShepherdJoo

Yes, the conventional wisdom is that you should submit at least a new version of your previous statement.

And I didn't bother with "Why [X]" essays, but they're highly recommended for any school that does yield protection.
