GPA and LSAT that beat Yale's medians. Considering applying for Chicago Law Scholars, 150k scholarship ED program for Chicago graduates. Interested in things that don't make much money. Sorry, intentionally vague, there aren't many of us. Should I apply broadly or take the money and run?

Yeah unless you're dead-certain you won't get need-based aid at HYS and want to be in Chicago, go for the Ruby (220k>150k) and see what happens. Those are some damn good stats and I think it's pretty likely you'll get 150k or more from at least one of CCN.

It's worth noting that Chicago Law Scholars apparently allows for an equal or maybe even better chance at a Ruby, although that might just be bluster.
OP, you should probably just straight-up ask your law advisor if you can get hooked up with a full ride. You're exactly the kind of student they're trying to retain. At the very least, you'll learn more about exactly how much money the ED route is worth.
