The info comes mostly from orientations/info sessions. Some of it might be wrong :(

October 7th isn't late at all. Be prepared to possibly wait until December.
I see, I didn't realize the deadline was December. Let me rephrase my question - is Cornell usually one of the last schools among the ~T14 to submit/report their medians?
Last year's thread didn't receive Cornell info until November 26.
Apparently, I can see Cornell's gpa median is rising....

from their website today: "The median LSAT score for the 2017 entering class was 167 and the median undergraduate GPA was 3.77."

Now I wonder what will be their 75th data...

So, the conclusion from this year's data is that despite the drop in applicants/LSAT test takers, law schools' medians went up and up and up?

Well for the T-13 anyway, it's not that simple.

Out of the T-13 (so far):

Medians
7 schools stayed the same
3 increased by a point
1 decreased by a point

75ths
6 (no word on Cornell yet) stayed the same
1 increased by a point
3 decreased by a point

So 75th's dropped even though medians did not. Which means maybe it's just a more equitable distribution of top scores
Isn't it also kind of interesting how much the meidan GPA's have gone up pretty much around the board

LSAT test takers increased did they not? LSAC says +3.3%.

This year, last year saw a drop in 170+
Ah ok. I'm guessing https://www.lsac.org/lsacresources/data ... ministered isn't the best data to look at for our purposes? Since it counts repeat takers and doesn't break down by score. On that page it says up 4.1% and 3.3% over the last two years.

I think it must be more top applicants are actually matriculating. Now that schools are throwing out 1/2 tuition scholarships and up, it's making more sense to go. Employment numbers have been steadily increasing, as well - knock on wood.

cornell maintained median lsat at 167 and slightly increased median gpa to 3.77 from 3.74

so yea the 166 prediction is definitely wrong. no way Cornell would let its lsat median drop below UT and georgetown

Just out of curiosity, why isn't this thread stickied? Seems like this thread is (going to be) more relevant than last year's.
