Not commenting on Texas or Georgetown, although Georgetown is more well-known b/t the two.
I'm in the Midwest and, in my experience, Georgetown has a ton of lay prestige. It's weirdly the school my non-lawyer family, friends, and coworkers are most impressed by.
Georgetown has a ton of lay prestige - I am just not commenting on that school given that I do not want to have to type in "EDIT: T13".
