Resumé Honors/Awards Section

Post by kpadoreo » Sat Dec 10, 2016 5:30 am

So I'm re-doing my resumé for law school applications and I know that there should be an honors/awards section, however I'm wondering what I should include. As I participated in one year of exchange and three research trips abroad with a professor, I got a lot of financial awards for those trips. Should I include all of this, and should I also include the monetary value of each award? I'm worried about using up too much space as I've heard the resumé shouldn't be longer than a page, and by listing all the universities I've studied at I already use up a lot of space.
Additionally, do I need to include a brief description of the research trips? They were in a small cohort of students who were taken under a professor's research funding and dealt with a specific research topic. They were also done at German universities so do I need to include that it was all conducted in German (also the papers I produced for them) or would that be redundant?
