Does it look bad on applications if you work at Chipotle?
I understand that work experience is an important part of the application, but my current options are somewhat limited. Working at Chipotle gives a nice pay and I currently need the money to pay off things non-college related.
Working at the company is actually nothing like working at a typical fast food restaurant - there is a lot of attention and focus on cleanliness and customer satisfaction; it's an extremely organized workplace that even gives self-improvement notebooks. I always thought of it as the private school of the fast-food world. I have a few years before applying to law school, should I ditch the job and try for an internship or would it like okay to keep working here and go for internships during the summer?

Sounds like you're working in college? It definitely won't hurt and might even help at the margins. Just, you know, maybe don't call it the private school of the fast food industry.

There's no shame in food service.

Haha, I'd never say that on an application.UnicornHunter wrote:Sounds like you're working in college? It definitely won't hurt and might even help at the margins. Just, you know, maybe don't call it the private school of the fast food industry.

No problem at all, and if you're working while attending school it's actually a benefit. Hell, if your GPA is low it might serve as a buffer if you demonstrate that you had to work to live and had less time to study.
That being said, if you can afford to get more law related WE without jeopardizing your livelihood then id suggest you do so.

Do it. Just don't get too fat on the free quesaritos.
