rear-ending someone minor traffic violation or disclose??
Does rear-ending someone (official citation was Failure to Maintain Assured Clear Distance Ahead) count as a minor traffic violation, or does it need to be disclosed on character and fitness? It wasn't a bad crash and I was 17 at the time so I'm not worried about it, I just don't want to disclose it if it does count as a minor traffic violation and have it look like I didn't read the question or that I don't understand what counts as a minor traffic violation... which apparently I don't. Overthinking this.. help is appreciated.

If you're state doesn't count your specific traffic violation as a misdemeanor then there is probably no need to disclose. If It is a misdemeanor then that is probably a disclosure. Check your applicable state law to be sure. In my state, most traffic violations outside of DUI/DWI are in a specific category of citations, not misdemeanors/felonies.
