You'll have to solicit them, but typically you'll get a waiver with that background.

Solicited: UVA, Wash U., Duke, UCLA, Vandy
Unsolicited: Georgetown, George Washington
Hidden: Columbia, Cornell, Penn
Free: (Apparently NU per previous post, though app. still shows fee; however, not complete yet), UT (resident), UH (resident)
None (yet!!): Michigan, Chicago, NYU
Here is an update on my fee waivers, all in one post.

Are you reapplying? Did your Columbia fee waiver roll over from a previous cycle?

Hmm I got Notre Dame unsolicited last year and got the email again today.
Do schools still send fee waiver emails even though their waivers roll over to the next cycle?

I'm reapplying, but didn't have one from Columbia last cycle. I bumped my LSAT up significantly in June.

Anecdotal, don't quote:
Re-applicant, no waivers rolled over, no waivers received. My CRS was updated to 2017 months ago, seems I'm just extremely unlucky.
Off to solicit...

Unsolicited from Seton Hall. A little bit odd - received an email that didn't say anything about the school, just simply "Your fee waiver code is *******. Please let me know if you have any questions."
I was planning on applying to them and was going to solicit if I hadn't received one, so good deal.

Damn thought I'd get one too. 25 < LSAT < 50. Gpa >75. Oh well. Do you know if their fee waivers are generally prioritized towards high lsats as opposed to GPA's?

Ugh, i thought I'd get one from Columbia too but opposite of you my LSAT is better than GPA. LSAT>75 GPA=50. I wonder what criteria they use to give them out.
I'm in the same boat :/ it is only Sept. 1 I know people that didnt get Duke's when it went out and didn't change their cars at all and then got one. It doesn't really help to apply right now anyway, might as well give them a week

You're prolly right. Im still waiting on LOR's anyways so I'm not in a rush. And looks like many people haven't received them yet so there's still hope.

I'm LSAT > 75, GPA > 75. I guess we'll all just wait. Can't really think of a criteria here.

Damns. Even if you didn't get that waiver, you would more than make up for it with scholarship money haha

Some schools will give a general service waiver for military/americorps/peace corps/TFA, and some give them out based on only one or a few of those programs. What I've seen most frequently for the latter group is schools that have an agreement with TFA specifically, and which don't offer military or ameri/peace corps waivers. Couldn't hurt to send out requests anyway, though.

Nope. My guess is they did an LSAT sweep and anyone at or over got one. Really the only explanation because I have no ties to TX.
