Rank under Education section on applications

Post by Carley » Sat Nov 14, 2015 3:07 pm

Under the Education section on the applications theres a gpa and a rank section. I know my gpa, but what do they mean by rank? Can you just leave rank blank? Also, I'm a transfer student. On the gpa spot for the school I'm graduating from do I put my cumulative gpa (that includes my transfer school) or just my gpa from that school? Thanks!

Some schools rank and let their students know what their rank is. My school doesn't rank (that I know of), so I just left that part blank. As for GPA, put whatever GPA shows up on your unofficial transcript. It's not that important. They're going to be looking at the LSAC calculated GPA and your official transcripts, anyway.
