C&F question

Post by joeycxxxx09 » Mon Nov 09, 2015 1:25 pm

If I had a traffic violation charge dismissed without ever going to trial from an accident does that need to be included on the C&F portion? The citation was written but was thrown out by the prosecutor soon after because it was written in error, it didn't apply to what happened. I figure that it wouldn't hurt to include a small write up of what happened just to cover all the bases and make sure it doesn't come back to bite me in the ass but I'm just checking if anyone advises otherwise.

Follow the wording of the application. If it's unclear, just do it.

With a situation such as this, it is better to be safe than sorry, especially since this

issue may come up again when you complete the Moral Character and Fitness

application for admission to the bar. You may always call some of the schools you

are interested in applying to and asking their opinion on the matter, but as stated, it

is better to be safe and to disclose.
