As a splitter, schools should be aware that you're applying to a wide range of schools. With a 176 & a 3.4 GPA, it's reasonable to apply to nine or ten of the top fourteen law schools in addition to a few regionals. If I were in your position, it would depend upon which law school is seeking voluntary disclosure as to whether or not I would disclose.

They're not gonna analyze your choice of apps. Just tell them if you want. It's for like internal data purposes anyway
