That's not a low GPA, so anything above their median should be good. If you get a 176 though you'd have a good shot at Harvard Columbia etc, why Chicago ED

Is this because you have rich family or because you made 250k through some insurance settlement? If the former, go for it. Then mack's answer sounds about right. Not a ton of data but Chicago prefers to take below median GPA's via ED.
