Agreed! Thanks again for the awesome advice everyone; I think my short time on TLS is over for now. I will however remember to take the extra 2.5 seconds to type out the word "daughter" if there ever is a next time. :p Best wishes to everyone here.

I'm not really thinking flame honestly. Multiple updates, text/timeline etc that's a hell of a flame profile. Most are just like 180 2.0 YHS or other silly business.

You should call/your daughter should call LSAC and make sure she has enough credits from her CC to be accepted to schools. If that is the case she'll get in to some of the most prestigious schools in the US, many with full rides. Great GPA and LSAT she has, and that's generally all schools care about. The tippy top schools might be concerned, but if she has an interesting life story those reservations might be dismissed by said schools.

IF that profile is genuine, and if I were to venture a wild-ass-guess, maybe that person did nothing to alleviate the concerns that her very young age would prompt. E.g., sounding very immature in a personal statement, or having a helicopter mommy constantly and aggressively calling each school's admissions office for updates and to demand results for her precious special snowflake. You always hear horror stories about overbearing parents accompanying their kids to job interviews and such, so I'm sure it has happened once or twice.

Ah. I did notice the age, but with those numbers what college wouldn't want her. However, you're probably right; something drastic must have taken place.

From what I remember, AP letters don't transfer, but ACCP grades do.

Also there are plenty of people who graduated early and are young that apply to law school - doubt it would have that profound of an impact. I'm not sure about the community college part, though.

That said, what's wrong with applying now and seeing the options? The girl doesn't have to attend if schools ding her because she's too young. She can always apply later (assuming LSAT hasn't expired)

I just think it's hard when you're 19 because you won't be able to relate to or socialize with your classmates/future colleagues and law firms/potential employers are going to look at you as immature (even if you're not).

I saw D and S everywhere on college confidential where parents ask for their kids. Unusual on TLS where people ask for themselves.

Yeah I thought it was normal as a veteran of CC. But even then I thought it was weird that so many parents posted for their high school kids, who are presumably able to use a computer themselves.
