Your third take? You only get three in a two-year span. When was your first take?

OP: You need to retake the LSAT. If the T-14 is out of reach, then try to get a substantial scholarship at a law school in the geographic region in which you want to live & work after law school.

ahh, okay. If you're confident you can get in the 170 range this next take, I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger this cycle. I know of a few who applied late and still had great results this cycle. Worst case scenario, you end up applying two cycles in a row if you get results you aren't happy with. Definitely shoot for October, as a November application is still early. If you end up pushing it back to Dec, don't fret, just have your other materials ready to submit as soon as you have your score.

That said, don't take it until you're confidently PTing at or above your target score.

Apply this cycle if satisfied with your new LSAT score. Apply broadly in an effort to get a decent scholarship offer or two.

What region are you in? Even with your current score and WE, you could definitely get a full scholly at a regional T2 or a decent scholly at a T1.

Might as well apply this year. I took the LSAT in Oct. and the only thing that held up my applications was getting my LORs in order and tracking down a transcript. December would be more than sufficient, provided you have your application materials together.
