The other thing to consider is that most people asking this question aren't asking to decide where to go for undergrad, they're asking to decide where to apply, and I don't think it carried enough clearly-demonstrated weight to really affect that decision. On the fringes it can help, but it's not going to get you into schools where your numbers aren't at all competitive, and it's not going to keep you out of anywhere your numbers are competitive. So I could see maybe stretching a teeny bit further if your UG is HYSP-level, but I still don't think it should really alter where you apply (I would never suggest not applying somewhere bc you think your UG is crappy, though). If your numbers are above both medians you have a good shot, if they're below both medians you have a poor shot, and if you're a splitter, who knows and apply widely, because your non-GPA/LSAT factors are probably going to carry more weight (but those factors aren't limited to undergrad, and you probably can't predict which soft will get you into which school - you apply widely bc you're a splitter, not because you went to a fancy UG.)

To be fair, it probably took me more time to dig up that post than it took for you to answer, so me too.

Plus her answer is a good end to the thread.

Do you think your UG can affect how much scholarship you're awarded?

What???

No.

There is no conceivable direct affect that I can conjure up. Indirectly, I am sure someone can through circular reasoning come to that conclusion. Numbers. Game.

I thought so, evidently we are not done.

No. Only to the extent it helps or hurts your GPA through grade inflation/deflation, but not on the basis of prestige. /Thread
