Waitlist and Financial Aid

Postby knimmz » Wed May 20, 2015 3:49 pm

When you're waitlisted and a school says there won't be financial aid for students admitted off the waitlist does that mean merit based financial aid like scholarships or grants and what not, or does it mean financial aid period, like you won't be offered loans or any of it and you'll just have to figure it all out on your own? And is that only for your first year, or is that for all 3 years?

Loans will be available, period. They don't expect 99% of students to be able to go to law school without them.

When they say no financial aid, they likely mean they will not offer any merit-based aid and they will not consider you for any need-based aid.
