Employment is such a small factor in USNWR's rankings that I doubt this will change much.

Just for contrast, the UVA Kennedy Fellowship funded positions pay $31.5k and include bar review stipends. Not all law school funded positions are equal.

is 100% of UVA's SFJ the Kennedy Fellowship? If so, that's not a bad deal (considering the other option is unemployment)

For what it's worth, from what I hear, at least a few of Cornell's 12 SFJ for c/o 2014 were closer to Emory's plan than UVA's.

I think 100% of NU's SFJs this year were funded at $50K + some benefits as Pritzker Fellows. The news release shows 10 students receiving the fellowship, which is the entirety of our 2014 SFJs (one shows up as part-time on the report).

http://www.northwestern.edu/newscenter/ ... ships.html

Annually, NU will be granting up to 9 of these. The 10th this year was funded from our clinic I think.

I'm not a PI guy, but this seems like a pretty good deal. I imagine they're competitive as hell.

it's 20% which is not enough but it still increased the gap between the t-14(t-13 without GT?) before they counted employment.

I keep wondering if Elon will prove itself but I think NC is just too crowded and Elon is easily not touching the top 3 for a long time if ever. Probably behind Campbell as well. But according to this - http://www.lstscorereports.com/schools/elon/aba/ - it's still up over the abyssmal sub 30% from the previous class.

It has sort of a local prestige (even if that's an oxy moron) as one of the best private colleges (not law schools) in state that isn't Duke or Wake. I doubt the law school will ever rise above TTT(T) but JW.

To put the local prestige in perspective, locals also find above ground pools prestigious there.

Please note that due to popular demand and the incredible help of JFO1883 the spreadsheet no longer includes Solos under FTBR.

Establishments that exude a sort of local prestige also include Wafflehouse and the apartment of the dude who bottles and distributes his repulsive micro-brews.

Stanford is out!

I like their breakdowns of JD-A/business/education, etc. It honestly looks like you can count on one hand the number of undesirable outcomes from their info breakdowns.

Someone should really create another thread comparing the LSF jobs. It would be interesting to know the salaries for all the different fellowships and how many of these are at least remotely desirable.

GW remains a trap school and is down from previous years. As expected, in light of increasing class sizes + transfer class sizes. Expect this trend to worsen.

Elon, Charlotte, and NC Central need to die. 7 law schools is at least 3 more than NC needs.

And wow @ Stanford's clerkship numbers and Georgetown's FTLTBR non LSF numbers. It truly is in a class with UT, Vandy, UCLA, USC, and maybe WUSTL. Is there a catchy name for that group?

Don't they take like 50 transfers from American alone? In light of that, 32% BLFC placement isn't bad. Not saying GW is worth attending in most cases as they're stingy with scholarships and are located in a very high COL area.

I like the way this info is trickling out. No one would ever look at GULC and new mexico next to each other normally but seeing those FTLTBR numbers next to each other is something. Of course there is salary differences undoubtedly but there is also a price difference
