What's wrong with UVA? (totally clueless about all things in the higher t14 except that they're better than GULC)
this 'assault' seems fabricated

to be fair, so was the assault on michigan but it became real real

i have a feeling UVA is gonna have one of the bottom 3 BL+FC rates and they need to be held accountable

how the hell is WUSTL, in St louis nonetheless, getting 0L's to attend in droves?
Have you seen their 509? They throw out money in ways that other schools don't (except Illinois whose employment numbers I'm curious to see). Especially for splitters and reverse splitters.

I think northwestern will since 10 % of class is JD-MBA. Can't see over 67 %. NU posts full employment data with salary though so if something like 70 % is making > 100K then that's good enough.

yeah WUSTL gives out full rides to a ton of people. They have no choice if they want to maintain their current medians I think.

Possibly anecdotal but I do know of two individuals that were both bottom third 1Ls at Cornell and got 1L SAs. The one graduating this year will be headed to a V15.

if 80% of the class gets biglaw, it's probably not just the top 80% getting it. Seems like if you wanted biglaw and are not fat and weird, you got it.

How is this surprising. It may have been difficult to get BigLaw from T14s back in 2009-11, but its ridiculously easy now. At Chicago I literally don't know of a single person who wanted Big/Midlaw and struck out, and our BigLaw/Market #s for last years 2Ls were almost 85%.

The problem is TLS is filled with students who go to trap schools like WUSTL or Texas, then clutter these boards with posts about how unhappy they are

WUSTL and UT are not the trap schools you're looking for... /waveshand
There are far more egregious offenders.

I know four Chicago students who struck out. Those are just the ones I've heard about.

I am not surprised. I am just in a state of shock as I struggle to adjust to a new world order. Yale and Harvard are in decline. Meanwhile, Cornell is ascendent—a place with a "heavyweight reputation" where even below-median 1Ls land V15 SAs. What's next? V10? V5?

When will the madness stop? I am afraid.
