Having a pretty good idea of what a class of law students is like socially and physically, 70%+ bl/fc anywhere is pretty remarkable to me

Pretty fucking peaches IMO.

I know that the c/o 2016's OCI wasn't "peaches" especially for people at median. It was a struggle with people jobless through December despite actively looking. Sure, they got jobs, and the numbers will be strong I'm sure, but don't overstate it

also, this:

Some of this might be schools doing better with people who struck out at OCI. With the market the way it is striking out hasn't been a death sentence in the last couple of years.

Should we see the class of 2014 as some sort of peak or has summer hiring been just as good at T14s since OCI 2012?

As Tiago is hammering home, corporate hiring is insane right now. So I'd say OCI should be good for your class still.

Washington University (they seem to have uploaded the file to the wrong place):

http://law.wustl.edu/admissions/documen ... rt2015.pdf

18: WUSTL - BL+FC-31%, FTLTBR-78%, FTLTBR (w/o LSF)-73%

Also got this one:
RNP: Golden Gate - BL+FC-3%, FTLTBR-25%, FTLTBR (w/o LSF)-24%

Total (84 schools): Totals: BL+FC-15%, FTLTBR-57%, FTLTBR (w/o LSF)-55%

Cornell:

BL+FC = 64.4% + 9.95% = 74.35%

Long Term (Full Time) - Bar Required: 95.81% (183/191)

BL: 123/191=64.4%
FC: 19/191= 9.95%

School Funded (Both Long Term FT and Long Term PT): 6.28% (12/191)

See: http://www.lawschool.cornell.edu/career ... ummary.pdf

P.S.: Just noted that someone has posted about Cornell. Sorry for double posting.

I would assume the same reason we apply (no better option), but they are working with much lower numbers and not very good at research.

GGU 2010: 320 1L's
GGU 2014: 137 1L's

And that's with a median drop from 154 to 149. They won't be enrolling there for much longer.

Florida State - http://www.law.fsu.edu/docs/default-sou ... f?sfvrsn=6

BL + FC = 7%
FTLTBR (excluding solo and LSF) = 65.2%

149 Median should mean immediate, automatic de-accreditation by the ABA...

WUSTL's drop seems a bit concerning, especially since their c/o 2014 was a lot smaller than 2013 and in light of ND's placement rate.

Yeah and USC & UCLA both 10% better than us. Really disappointing.

It's not really news, though. WUSTL is a great regional school but the Biglaw outcomes have always lagged behind other good regional schools like USC and BU because it doesn't really have a home market to place graduates into.

WUSTL's location probably prevents it from seriously competing with the SoCal schools (so it's impressive when it outdoes USC, like last year) but you'd think they wouldn't do 7% worse than Notre Dame which has similar geographic issues.

Yeah, St. LOLuis can't compare to Boston, LA, Chicago, etc.
