1% beat in BL+FC, but losing in terms of all jobs. UCLA still comes out on topstarry eyed wrote:interesting to see how USC has beaten UCLA. UCLA on the decline

if it didn't have Yale next to it one would be badly misled by those numbers

Re: Latest employment data
To be fair, UCLA and USC have always been pretty close in terms of outcomes. The posters who say otherwise have only been paying attention to the past couple years of data.

Re: Latest employment data
i think BL+FC is more important bc at that point it is mainly a function of your school/grades when it comes to getting employed. Other jobs require more hustling and connections from what i can tell that don't have much to do with your school unless its like comparing cooley and Harvard. USC and UCLA are peers but UCLA may have a slight networking advantage bc of its bigger class sizes. The Dark Shepard wrote:1% beat in BL+FC, but losing in terms of all jobs. Re: Latest employment data
USC/UCLA were over 50% in BL+FC easily before the recession so clearly there is no full recovery.

Re: Latest employment data
UCLA will always finish ahead of USC in total JD required because USC pushes its people to private sector which leads to those JD advantaged jobs. They don't even fund their PISF clinics.starry eyed wrote:i think BL+FC is more important bc at that point it is mainly a function of your school/grades when it comes to getting employed. Doesn't matter, UCLA/USC are regional schools and rankings after the T14 are insignificant. I'm sticking with this unless another school decides to shit the bed/pull a Yale:Winston1984 wrote:Zuck, can you give us a new tier based on this info?starry eyed wrote:interesting to see how USC has beaten UCLA. Re: Latest employment data
BL+FC may be more important, but this is a 1% difference. If it was even 5% I might agree with USC>UCLA this year, but 1%?starry eyed wrote:i think BL+FC is more important bc at that point it is mainly a function of your school/grades when it comes to getting employed. I was all set to go to UCLA but if a mere $30k secures me that 1% big law advantage, sign me up for USC
