Why can't you just figure it out for yourself? It's not hard.

I don't think there even are lists separated by state. Just thumb through the regular rankings and separate out the CA schools.

The relative rankings of schools located in CA:
1) Stanford
2) Berkeley
3) UCLA
4) USC
5) Irvine/Davis
6) Other places you probably shouldn't go.

Here's a list of schools that place in CA:

Out of date a bit, but good to know there is a list similar to what OP desires.

I would rank UC Davis ahead of UC Irvine for now. UCI's projected employment outcomes don't look great.

Put them on the same level even though Irvine is technically ranked higher than Davis.
But obviously one shouldn't make decisions based on US News.

The way I see it, if you want to practice in California and can't get into the elite schools, UCD is a safer bet than UCI. It has an established alumni base and has decent employment numbers. The past couple of years, they've been giving generous scholarships and kept their classes at around 150 students. This should help their employment stats down the road.

I see problems for UCI in the near future. UCI's employment rates are already poor for having such small classes- if they are struggling to place 70% of people into jobs when their classes consist of only 100 students, what's going to happen when they increase their class sizes to 150/200 students (Chem's stated goal)? I predict a fall in the rankings as their class sizes increase and employment numbers + medians decrease.

This. Other than S/B, probably no goes unless you get aid and or parents are rich.
