Will people still respect you if you're a dentist?
What will you do to cover the stench of an abscess?

To be fair, a dentist gets paid 1K to do a 20 minute crown. Who cares? Without money, life sucksJason Taverner wrote:Will people still respect you if you're a dentist?

It's not about what people prefer for trucks. It's about what's cheaper. It's much cheaper to buy a self driving truck than to pay a truckers salary (which can be quite high) and benefits. You think Walmart is going to keep hiring truckers once autonomous trucks are available and legal? The moment self driving trucks are legal is the moment that virtually every trucker loses their job. Maybe a few freelance gigs will still be available here and there by small companies that can't afford the upfront cost of an automated one. But any trucker that is part of a fleet is screwed.RZ5646 wrote:Exactly. Self-driving cars will be popular eventually, but not for at least 20 years. People aren't going to immediately jump to autonomous cars like Google has; instead, normal cars will slowly become self-driving as manufacturers gradually add driver assistance features.ReasonableNprudent wrote:Also, I believe the bet was "truck drivers will be completely obsolete in 5-10 years." I'm still counting that $50 as part of my future net worth.
OP don't marry a trucker.

If you wanted to be happy and didn't care about money, you wouldn't be on a law forum and aspiring to be a lawyer. Law sucks tooJason Taverner wrote:Outline how I can use money to buy happiness.

My financial plan is to have a bunch of babies. If you have 15-20, then one of them is bound to be a famous actor. Then know who's paying your bills? That's right-- actor baby.

Yes because you also need parental approval and you can't have parental approval without a DOCTOR husband/wife.Jason Taverner wrote: If I'm not poor do I still need the DOCTOR husband/wife?

I'm beginning to think Polly's whole goal here is to find a BigLaw attorney about to make partner.
Nice strategy, Polly. Very savvy.

The wider the age gap the sooner he'll kick and you'll be independently wealthy. Run it by Tiger Mom before you turn your nose up at it.pollywolly88 wrote:They're like 40 though. Don't use your Asian heritage as an excuse for being spineless. Not all Asians have such a warped sense of reality. You should've majored in computer science.
Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.
