Law School Environment for Academically Dismissed Students

Post by erin.lain » Tue Feb 17, 2015 1:11 pm

I am interviewing Black and Latino students who were academically dismissed from law school to see how the law school environment affected their academic performance. These interviews are a part of a dissertation study I am conducting. If you fit the criteria and are interested in helping, please email me at erin.lain@drake.edu.

I'm curious, is academic dismissal a regular occurrence among Black and Latino law students?

Some statistics show that black and Latino students fail out at a much higher rate, but there hasn't been much research done in the area, which is why I’m pursuing this topic. Do you know anyone who could participate in my study?
