Easier or more difficult to get in as an international?

In other words, do we benefit from "diversity" in the same way as URMs or similar?
Or, conversely, are there so many of us making it even more competitive to get in than it is for US citizens?

I'd say completely neutral. No boost, no negative; this is especially so if you have a reportable GPA (i.e. went to undergrad in the US or Canada).

Yep went to a US undergrad. That's good then, thanks!

There would be no "hard" boost that URMs get. Still, you could try to spin out your status in a diversity statement that's separate from your PS.
