Quick Resume Question
** Bump new question
Do I need to include the community college that I went to for my first two semesters on my resume? Everything fits perfectly on one page as is without, which is why I'm asking. On another note, is it ok to send in a Why X essay after submitting my applications?

Re: Quick Resume Question
I don't think there's a need to differentiate them; just Dean's List with Honors and dates is fine.

Re: Quick Resume Question
How dense is your resume? You might not need to include those things. They will see your overall gpa and can determine how you were as a student far better than those designations will.

Re: Quick Resume Question
Not to be rude but you should include whatever information the school tells you to in their instructions. Some specifically say to include ALL academic institutions attended whereas others give vague directions.

He's referring specifically to the resume though. I haven't seen any school give specific instructions for what to include in the resume.DiniMae wrote:Not to be rude but you should include whatever information the school tells you to in their instructions. If the school is vague about it, I would not put CC on there unless it helps strengthen it for some reason. They will see the transcripts.

Thanks for all the replies! Any insight into sending Why X essays after submitting my applications? I want to get them in asap and do not want to prolong submitting my apps for a Why X essay. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Quick Resume Question
They're just a page. Do them for PVM today and be done with it. If you're not applying to those schools, then don't bother.dustybottoms7 wrote:Thanks for all the replies!
