Do recommendation dates matter? (sorry for another thread)

Postby Oskosh » Fri Jan 02, 2015 4:15 pm

Just noticed that on one of my applications, it lists when my LOR was submitted. If I were to reapply next cycle, would it hurt my chances if they see that some of the letters are from the previous year?

Thanks.

^^. Friendly reminder to say, if you do reapply, make sure to change your personal statement.

I can vouch for this. I got a nice little email from HLS demanding a new PS. No mention that I reused recommenders.

A new personal statement and updated resume are your main concerns for reapplying. If possible, try to snag a new rec (I couldn't ).
