H/Y Webinars

Does anyone know if the Yale Q&A session from October (maybe November, things are blurring together) is available anywhere online? I poked around on their website and can't find it, so I thought I'd try the hive mind before I gave up. I can't read part of my notes (oops) and wanted to verify that Asha actually said what I think she said. Same question for the Harvard webinar.

And just for fun, I've been having an argument with my friend over the "invites" to these webinars. I say that everyone is invited, he seems to think he was special for getting the invite. Anyone who wants to support my side of the argument, feel free to chime in.

Not everyone is invited, but they invite s range far wider in stats than what they are willing to accept.

View it no differently than a fee waiver.

Yeah, I made no attempt to express interest to Yale before being invited. I really doubt they invite everyone registered for CRS.

It was also my experience that Dean Rangappa said nothing she hasn't already written on her blog so... there's that.

Thanks, yeah I know about the blog and have gone through it. I was trying to find a particular answer to a somewhat unusual question asked during the session. So any info about if/where the webinars are posted would still be much appreciated.

It's not a fee waiver, and it should definitely be viewed differently from a fee waiver. Whether you're invited to an admissions webinar says exactly nothing about your chances as an applicant.

How does it affect your chances any differently than fee waiver? I understand the benefits are different - a fee waiver saves you some nice cash - but yeah.. you get what i am saying.

You should have received an email with a unique link to a recording of your webinar at law-yale.adobeconnect.com.
