How long for CAS to process Letters of Rec? Forum

So I approached my professor on Dec 2 to get a letter of rec and he said he can only get it to me January 8th or even a week later. He's my only option for an academic reference because I've been out of school for three years and none of my other professors responded to me or even remember me.

How long does CAS take to process Letters of Rec?

From my experience, if he's uploading it online then it should be almost immediately. All of my letters were processed in less than a day.

Yep, same. If he uploads it online, it should show up immediately. CAS sends you a notification email after they receive the LOR but it usually is delayed until that evening/by a few hours.

Yeah he uploaded it today four weeks earlier than he said he would. And it showed up immediately.
