error in app - follow up?

Post by ballcaps » Sat Nov 29, 2014 10:24 pm

hello,

i just realized that there was an error in my application to one of my top choices. the dates i entered on the application were different from the dates on my resume for a certain activity.

should i send an email to apologize, or is that crazy?

thanks very much.

p.s. threw this out in the help-from-professionals forum but got nothing (yet) and would like to act ASAP.

Is it that noticeable? Chances are they will only take a glance at your resume. I wouldn't if it was up to me unless the mistake materially misstates my experience/education.

basically the application says i participated in a certain activity for a year longer than it says on my resume. the dates are listed in different formats (numerical vs. month-year written.)

thoughts?
