C&F Question Too

Post by Datthrowawaytho » Mon Oct 13, 2014 9:57 pm

Got called into my university's student disciplenary org regarding involvement in a drunk fight. I got punched and didn't retaliate, but I was roped into writing an essay on how fights are bad m'kay?

Reason enough to disclose on apps?

I would say yes - if you had to write a essay it probably ended up on your disciplinary record. I would also request a copy of your disciplinary record from your school so you are on the same page as the university about how the incident was interpreted, since that record will get sent to the law school at some point.

If someone actually punched you and you didn't retaliate I'm sure it's not going to matter much on your apps. This is of course assuming you weren't drinking under the legal age limit or anything like that.
