Prefix vs. title

Post by Philafaler » Thu Oct 09, 2014 5:58 pm

When creating recommenders on LSAC, what is the difference between the prefix and the title?

For my professor, I had simply put "Dr." as the prefix. Should that be the title?

If not, is the title his position, say "Assistant Professor of XXX"?

I did the same. Prefix: Dr and the Title: Associate Professor/Executive Director/etc.

Plus, I believe your recommenders can change it if they want it to say something different.
