Re: 2014-2015 Fee Waivers
Thanks for making this thread! I guess they might not count as unsolicited, but what do you think about adding a category for schools that hand out fee waivers at LSAC forums?

FWIW, although they may not be TOP law schools, I do know that a few have free applications anyway, like Arkansas.

Feel free to post ITT if you find out about free apps. I'll keep it updated with any of the ranked schools.

I got a fee waiver from Valispero (??)smccgrey wrote:lol I got a fee waiver to the joint Detroit/Windsor program with my shit GPA and I haven't even written the LSAT yet. Just because I'm a dual citizen, apparently.
BTW Bex you're wonderful! Thank you for making this thread!
Also I thought I saw somewhere the NU was doing their "apply before this date in Nov. and your fee is waived." But I may be wrong.

Sure. They email me like twice a month and I've never opened there emails, but many have indicated a fee waiver.hereisonehand wrote:Valparaiso you mean? Re: 2014-2015 Fee Waivers
I'm not reapplying but I took the Feb LSAT and got a lot of fee waivers for last cycle. Michigan sent me an email a few months ago saying that I had to "re-register" for CRS in mid-August to get their fee waiver, but LSAC says that there is no way to re-register and to just change my expected enrollment year. I've still turned it off and turned it back on a couple of times though. hm weird I'll try that. I also unsubscribed from as many TTT email lists as possible already so that may be part of itxylocarp wrote:I'm not reapplying but I took the Feb LSAT and got a lot of fee waivers for last cycle. They would probably list it on their website as a talking point. I also sat Feb and it has been quiet this cycle...got an email from WUSTL with a waiver Jul 25 but I think that's been it for a while.xylocarp wrote:I'm not reapplying but I took the Feb LSAT and got a lot of fee waivers for last cycle. I also unsubscribed from a lot of TTTs that sent me emails back in spring, but I never saw anything from Michigan...

Same issues as the other February takers.
I recently changed my e-mail in LSAC and haven't gotten any e-mails from schools for awhile...

I got some TTTs in addition to those Bex listed but I imagine/hope no one cares. Tagged for science/future times!

Re: 2014-2015 Fee Waivers
I'm wondering if their CRS search #s will change after the new medians are released? (For all schools, not just GULC).sneakyleo wrote:I got an email from Washington and Lee in early July that said "for this year" there would be no fee for me, but it came in the middle of a wave of waivers (heh) for late applications for the 2013-2014 cycle, so I'm not 100% sure whether they meant it as a waiver for 2013-14, 2014-15, or both. So that could maybe be added to the list?
I didn't get a GULC waiver (June LSAT), though I remember seeing a wave of people getting them in July (can't remember which thread). Do we think they'll do another wave for June (or earlier) takers, or is it time to solicit?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
