Accelerated J.D. Programs (2-year/3+3)

Post by CountryRoads » Tue Feb 25, 2014 4:02 pm

Hey all,

Just something I was curious about. I have been reading more and more about schools implementing 3+3 programs (where students combine their final year of undergrad into law school) and even a few schools offering 2-year accelerated programs where the student begins in the summer and goes all-year long (although NW is the only noteworthy school that has this program thus far)

Obviously finishing a year early has its perks, but my question is, is it worth it? I mean is two consecutive years of law school with virtually no breaks too unbearable for a student? I was just curious to see if anybody has any experience with these kind of programs.

Also, is this something that more schools will implement in the future? Or is it just a way for some TTT's to build a niche?
