I just became a committee chair for a local chapter of a networking organization that I'm in.

As much as I'd love to update my resume, I'm not sure this is worthy enough to pester the Adcoms about.

No. I'm no longer in school. This is just an extracurricular activity that I do outside of work.
I'm really excited about it, but not sure if the adcoms would be too.

what is a networking organization

An organization of professionals that hosts/participates in such things as:
-Community Service
-Fundraising Events
-Social/Networking Events
etc.

Some of the organizations have more of a political slant to them, or are tailored to certain groups of people
Ex: URM's/young professionals/certain types of professions (medicine/finance)
