I got into Southwestern Law School's PT Evening program. Due to personal obligations, I cannot attend any FT programs. But after analyzing the financial decisions, I am not sold on attending SLS PT for approximately $110K in student loans.

There is definitely a place and time to attend a PT program. Southwestern at 110k is definitely not one of them.
Frankly, even with a full ride, the scholarship stipulation is so high that it's not even worth attending.

Re: Should I attend a PT program?
My story is very simple: I've been out of undergrad for 12 years, have a spouse with a kid, a mortgage, and a car payment. However, I'm not quite happy doing what I'm currently doing, although I make good $$. I have been exploring going to LS for the past 4 years, and I feel like it's now or never. I feel like I can combine my background with law pretty nicely (HR, Safety).WaltGrace83 wrote:Not that.

As I mentioned, I cannot attend a FT program due to my obligations, so my only option is a PT program...but after looking at the total cost, not counting interest, I can't justify the cost.
