Am I allowed to apply BEFORE my transcripts are 'in'?

Post by Baby_Got_Feuerbach » Sun Jan 12, 2014 1:39 pm

Some school deadlines are near and there's no way that my transcripts will be sent out by my school, then received and processed by LSAC in time to meet those Feb 1 deadlines.

Am I able to still apply without a completed CAS? (The school-specific apps are already completed and ready to be sent.) ...or do I need to wait until the transcripts are processed before I can actually submit?

In other words, can I wait to go complete until after the deadline (with an application having been submitted before that deadline)?

Bump. Wondering the same thing... I would assume that schools would still accept our apps if not give them full consideration/review them dead last...

Anyone have a better answer?

OP, don't know what your specific situation is, but my undergrad mailed my transcript via regular mail last Tuesday and today it showed up as recieved AND processed. LSAC processing times not nearly as terrible as I feared.

There may be hope!
