LOR Content

Post by theycallmefoes » Fri Jan 10, 2014 8:27 pm

How important is it for the recommender to mention the law school by name? I'm applying to quite a few schools, and it seems, at best, presumptuous to ask for recommenders to upload so many LORs. In addition, I know from experience that one of my recommenders can barely use a computer, so it seems best to just ask for one general letter in that case. Does it really make any difference?

I do not think it matters unless the recommender has connections to the school.

I know a few people who asked those who they particularly were liked by for a reach lor and a general one.
