On apps, put down exact school GPA or lsac GPA?

Postby bobdylann » Mon Dec 16, 2013 6:26 pm

Sorry if this sounds incredibly elementary, but on our law school apps, do we put down our lsac gpa or our exact school one?

I'm assuming schools automatically calculate (or view primarily the) LSAC gpa and that I can't go wrong by simply putting down my official school GPA that shows up on my official transcript but I just wanted to make sure!

Thanks!

Either one is fine, but they're going to use the LSAC GPA, so there's no reason really to put anything else. Some people like to put their school GPA (or...ugh...major GPA) if it's higher, but it's not fooling anyone.
