LOR waive

LOR waive
I remember reading a while ago about someone not waiving their right to view their LOR. What happens in this case? Does it look bad?

Are you applying to HYS?
If so, yes, waive it. Your letters carry less weight if you do not because the fact that you are able to view them might "influence" your recommender to not be as honest since they would not want to openly offend you.
If not:

Yeah i have a solid one. But another offered and it sounded like it would be generic so i wanted to see it
