Addendum length

Postby dcoppo01 » Sun Dec 15, 2013 11:43 pm

What is the recommended length for an addendum? I am writing an addendum to explain GPA and a low first LSAT score.

I am writing about the deaths of two grandparents as well as severe illness of one of my parents. There is a lot to write and explain. I am afraid I have written too much.

As short as possible while still getting the whole story across.

That being said, writing both a GPA and LSAT addendum is not recommended. They will have a minimal effect on your application anyway. And writing an addendum to help explain both the quantitative factors of your application will most certainly come across as making excuses, regardless of how it actually read.

I'd probably recommend dropping the LSAT addendum.
