Applying ED and registering for Dec LSAT

Postby ArundelSt » Thu Oct 31, 2013 10:45 am

My top choice is UVA and I would like to apply there binding ED, my LSAT was a bit lower than I was hoping and I think I will improve my chances by going ED. That being said I wanted to sign up for the December LSAT so that I can have a chance to improve my score, which I strongly believe I can. Will this affect my binding ED app if they see I have signed up for the next LSAT...will they throw me into the regular pool or waitlist me because of this, or do they not know at all?

if you want them to review your application with your current score, go ahead explicitly tell them that. they will do it and you will probably get an early decision

if you want them to wait for your new score, it is likely that you won't be getting an early decision result.

if you don't tell them anything and were requested to put down date taken/will take LSAT (Dec), they will wait for it if they see it, again you will probably end up losing early decision chance.

this is what i heard from a couple other schools
