should EVERY SINGLE section of application be answered?

some sections are things that aren't required to be answered, but if you don't answer them it shows 'no answer provided' on the application. must EVERYTHING be filled out... even if the answer it N/A?

I can't even put "n/a" for many of my applications due to the slash. So far I have left most of the non-required sections blank, and I doubt it will make a difference to my chances of admission.

If they really cared about those sections being filled in they could've just made them required.
